Girls outshine boys in ICSE 12th 2014 result in Patna

 

Just like previous years, this time also girls have outshone boys in the ICSE (ISC) 12th class result of 2014 in Patna schools. Close to 500 students had appeared for the exam from the various schools in Patna. The girls passing percentage stands at 96.34% whereas that of boys stands at 96.12%. Prashansa Agarwal of St. Joseph's Convent High School is the overall topper across all the stream from the city. She got 97.5% in the Commerce stream. Aditi Kumari of St. Joseph's Convent is the topper in Science from the school (92.25%) as well as from the city, whereas Muntenha Fatma is the topper in Arts from the same school (92.25%) in the city. Thus, St. Joseph secured all the top ranks in all the three stream from Patna. Don Bosco recorded 99% pass percentage whereas Mount Carmel recorded 100% pass percentage. Many schools could not publish their result due to frequent server breakdown, which continued to remained affected till late night. The result were declared at 3 PM on Saturday. However, the frequent shutdown of the server caused much annoyance among the students and the school authorities.
