Super 30 batch, now internationally acclaimed, is a brainchild of Mathematician Anand Kumar, which provides proper coaching to 30 meritorious and talented student from all societies, including backward and poor, free of cost. Buddhist Circuit includes Patna, Vaishali (56 km N), Rajgir (100 km S-E), Bodh Gaya (96 km S), Nalanda (90km S-E) & Kesaria (110 km N). Jainism Circuit includes Vaishali (56 km N), Pavapuri (70 km S-E), Rajgir (100 km S-E) & Arrah (56 km W).
The bridge magnificent
Gandhi Setu, connecting Patna to Hazipur over Ganga, is one of the longest bridge of the world over river. Inaugurated in 1982, it has a length of 5,575 m stretched over 48 pilers. It consists of 46 spans of 121 m each and 2 spans of 63.53 m at each end.The deck provides for a 7.5 m wide 2 lane roadways with 2 m wide footpaths on either side. It is built using cantilever segmental construction method. Currently it is a part of National Highway 19.
